'88 Starlliner... Anyone?

So if you end up pulling the trigger, I think someone owes me a finders fee! :D

Thinking I can cut a hole in the front deck of the 'flite and throw some lawn chairs up there and join the club! A little redneck engineering!

Can't wait to see the picks. Safe travels!

- Mike
Those lawn chairs would make you the newest member of the secret handshake club. That means you're buyin' rounds for everyone till someone else signs in.:welcome:
There goes your finders fee. Which reminds me- I never got my fee from Sam I Am the Purple Pimp.

Yup. Saw it on FB but didn't want to spill the beans. Got some pics of it from Kris too, looks super clean. I'm a little jealous.

You better make a pit stop at Costco on the way home and get a proper enclosure to keep that baby in, it'd be a sin to have it out in the weather. :D

That thing looks REAL clean. Sharp looking rig! I guess it was worth the trip. If is as clean as the pics look, I think you stole it at that price!

Glad I posted it and a member was able to grab it. Add another one to the family.

CONGRATS!

The boat looks outstanding I really love mine and I have had a number of boats. We have definately tried out the rough water performance this spring.

I owe you one for posting it. Thanks!

It's even better in the flesh. I can't believe what I got.
1000miles, 24hrs and 5mins it took to collect, and I had 3hrs sleep in the last 36hrs.
Sipping a cold Heineken here in a daze after wrapping it up on the driveway.
Tomorrow will be spent looking her over again and again :-)

Mandy must be thrilled!

The storey goes that he bought it from a neighbour 5yrs ago who had bought it new from a dealer at a show in the area. The boat was a display.
That first owner was meticulous about his toys, and it shows for a 24yr old boat.
It was stored out of the elements all its life.

The boat is worth twice what I paid I reckon and I'm considering myself a lucky sod as there was a few people interested this week.

So, who's is faster :poke:

Sim's got the speed title around here and unless that's one bad arse Yammi 150 I should be second.

Kris,

Glad you're home with no troubles or mechanical break downs. I'm sure Mandy is pleased with it and I bet it might have exceeded her expectations. I'm sure she'll like the ride in that a lot better than the small boat. I may take a ride down tomorrow, I got my work done tonight. Time for a cold beer myself but gotta wash off the foam dust first.

John

Excellent John. Drop me a text or call when you have a time in mind.
I'll be around the house all day except to maybe get a carport.

Anyway, I need sleep after 2 Heinos and a chinese take away.

Laterz alligatorz!

What an adventure you seem to have had! Can't wait to hear of it further.
Speed is not what matters.
What matters is fun and excitement, all the things you are experiencing in this foreign place. Good thing you have a tolerant partner.
We'll all get together and boogie soon. I'm in for fixes for the next week or two. Went out for a ride last weekend. Good time. Wanna see your new scoot.
Will be very cool Startriplets for a photo.
Use your new ride in good health.
Hopefully the next 1-3 weekends we can get out Greenwood or Hudson if weather is good.
