What is a stern jack and a nose cone? Will these help with my boat from wanting to lean from one side or the other?

stern jack is for outboards and lifts/lowers the motor depending on how you want to run that day. such as low for skiing and high for using a chopper blade for top end.
the nose cone is only used around 80mph and above. it is pointed at the front instead of rounded. if adjusting the trim doesnt do it then tabs may help.
My boat does the same thing i checked the gimbal ring it is good what else could cause play in the steering i will be going along and it will just fall one side to the other
