jobbienooner???

Thinking about checking out jobbienooner. Havent heard about it until i read this post and never been to lake St.Clair. I do have a cottage on the St Joe near niles though, probably where i will stay the night before. Im sure i can get to the island once i get out onto the water but anyone have any suggestions on ports to go out of. Maybe a few of us checkmate guys can meet up and ride up there together.

Hondam,I've made a couple joobies in june, Not sure how the party is in sept. might get even wilder.:banana:who knows. The easiest way from niles would be run I-94thru Detroit to the east side.past 12 mile rd past 14 mile rd then you'll come up on metroparkway(witch is really 16 mile rd) just exit right (east) 3 miles to the metro park. Once you exit the blackcreek on to st clair just head due east across the lake its only apx 20-35 min ride at 25 mph. just follow the everyone else you can;t miss it.

The partying starts early best if at the island by 10:30ish

Good luck if you go might make it out myself.

P.S.The wife just walked in and read my post and said she would love to go only if the weather is nice

I really appreciate the info and directions, will help out a lot. It all depends on the weather for me too. Hopefully it is as nice as this Labor Day supposed to be. Going go get out this weekend and try a few new props on my new gearcase i had modded by titus. With any luck ill see you there.

Very nice outfit, its about 225 miles to Lake St. Clair from niles.Back when I younger and (single) I would trailer my starflite across the country, Florida,Califorina,Missouri,Kentucky,Wisconsin,Canada and Northern Michigan.I enjoyed looking sharp on the road as much as the water. Hope you make it and enjoy the trip showing off that sharp outfit.

I'll be out there..

Just keep an eye out for a really small pink boat getting the crap beat out of it!!:thumb:
