Any one tried a Rapture Prop?

I normally don't stock this type of prop and I never have tried one before.
I picked one up from a supplier It's a michigan wheel stainless steel 25P 3 blade.
It's a aggressive looking prop.
Has anybody used one or is running one? I put this one up for sale.

I would like to get some feedback on how they work on a outboard or a sterndrive.
If they work good let me know. If they are crap don't let me know lol.
Really, good or bad I would like to know.

I need to know if I have to turn it into a clock.

They are not a good performance prop. I had a 25" Tempest(non+), tried a 25" Rapture and it was 800-900 rpm less than the Tempest. Tried a 23 and it wasn't much better. Could not get any good speed numbers with it. boatman

Thanks Boatman,

Just curious ,I take it you Ran it on your outboard, What hp do you have? Did the 23 knock down the RPM too,

I have a 21p on my 150 on the exciter, i like it. Its got great holeshot and digs in turns but i need to go up in pitch next year.

I looks good very aggressive blades, I think it may be like any other prop You have to have enough HP to turn it at any size ,X demension running surface ect. So one bad report and one good anyone else, Please comment.
 
Rapture Props

I have a 1973 Trimate 17' with a 1995 Merc 115. The best thing I ever did was install a Rapture 21" stainless prop. I can hit 49 mph on gps. @5400rpm by myself in the boat. I loose about 2 to 3 mph for each additional person in the boat. I installed the prop in 2001 and have not had a problem or regret since. I have hit logs and other objects and the prop is still in excellent condition. Very tough prop at a reasonable price. One thing is for sure, I will never use an aluminum prop again. I havent compared them to anything since my new setup, im going to a 24p tempest but ill keep the rapture for my tubing prop. I dont know what the bow lift comparison would be to others but my 21 rapture has alot of bow lift.
 
I ran a 25 Rapture on a 20ft Pulsare with a 200 Opti. It ran 73 on the limiter. I was very surprised at how good it ran for a cheap prop.
