with it being straps no more than 30-35mph or it will blow apart. if it was support tubes you could go faster.

SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO SACRAFICE GOOD LOOKS TO MAKE YOUR WIFE HAPPY. I KNOW THIS FOR A FACT SINCE MY WIFE JUST MADE ME DUMP MY SWIMSUIT MODEL GIRLFRIEND LAST NIGHT

I think they are "Butt Ugly" and I'm also about to get one to keep from getting our brains fried on hot days. Sometimes comfort has to come before looks.

Id say run wide open and let the pieces fall where they may:( . I like the idea behind them but hmm on a checkmate i dont know? Aaron

I put a bimini on my old Pulsare and played around with mounting locations, then cut some length off the main poles and got it to lay down right on the top of the back seat. Did'nt look too bad. Used it a lot more than I thought I would. I've got an Anchor Shade for my ZT 280 though.

Here's a bargain basement way to do it. Can't run with it but it does get the job done when the sun gets to be too much. No holes or brackets need to be installed either. Set it up --http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p30/CYCLONE-2/100_0066.jpg--tear it down!

When I get to hot I just jump overboard or hit the throttle. I usualy wear enough sunblock to keep me from getting roasted though.

CYCLONE that is a great looking mate! post some more pics in the forum.:surf:

I made my own stainless frame and had it covered. It's low profile and will stay put at 70 mph.

as big as that is i would say around 50 you would have to swap from a water prop to a airplane prop and go hang gliding...

im sure it helps on hot days!!!

but there are other ways to cool off... just cant remember them at the moment...:cheers hickup...

Interesting because I've been heading that way also. Any second thoughts to educate us? Do you like the width you chose, etc? I've been trying to decide if I want a 6' long which will barely cover my interior or an 8' that would cover enough extra to help no matter what the angle of the sun is.

If I do it too short, then your neck would still be red when you sit in the back..........OH, SORRY - Mine is already red.....
