checkmate weekend 2013

Is it June yet? Is it? Is it?

I'm back in NJ a few hours, and couldn't of anything better to be looking forward to. I'm still interested in a house share.
T-shirts? Yes please - but only black this time to save on the laundry bill.

June suits me best also as I'll be away for the most of July.

Alright, anyone interested in chipping in/splitting the house, on or near the Magothy, send me a PM. Let me know how many will be staying and what your budget is for the weekend in the house. From there I will find something that suits our needs and we'll go from there.

Back to the shirts... Same general design as last year, or something totally different?

I'm ready to rock and roll :surf:

Its 511 miles from south Detroit to Baltimore. I've never spent time in that part of country before?

I've been boating 25 yrs in the Detroit area and never seen a Billy Bob jump in a boat and operate it like that before, I'm just say'n. :p

Youst to travel the country at a drop of a hat. But lately my record hasn't been to good lately (just ask BigRed). At 500 miles the seat would'nt even be warm yet. Back then the Starflite wasn't such an embarrassment either. But I thinking I need to find my roots a little, go back to the good ole' days of just me, the truck, boat, tent and a case of Michelob! So set a date already and I'll see what I can Do.

The Hemi would do 100 mph with boat and not even breath hard, but I'll get about 8 mpg. I sit and wait for a living so-70 mph with stops is always my goal when traveling.

June 22-23 work for everyone? I will make it a three day weekend and probably add on Friday the 21st. If this agreeable, I will post up a new thread under the events sections.

I'm so in! Even though I don't know anyone!
June works for me. Renting a house sounds great too! I'd pitch in and sleep on a couch or in my boat since it'd probably be me and maybe a friend if I can talk one into going away with "strangers" haha ;)

I've never heard Boo Yah used in the negative. Maybe I should have said "Congratulations, that's great".

I have heard a Boo Yah used after someones negative act they felt was worthy of celebration. Such as a payback... like when a very large bird flies over head and commences a poo bombing for approaching their nesting area and doubles back just for a loud squawking of - BOOYAH!!

Or when Billy Bob fires up his fancy lights and yells out BOO YAH - just before draining his battery and blowing up his engine:D

Looking forward to a memorable weekend:bigthumb:

Gentlemen, I look forward to the pleasure of spending a late evening with you debating the semantics of "boo ya".
And if we really strike gold we may even witness a repeat performance of the avian bombing that took place last summer.
Will pack an extra shirt for knarloid.
Let's hope...................please, please please.
