Checkmate Weekend Chesapeake Bash 2012

Yeah Buddy! Some grilled cajun salmon and you'll have a whole bunch of new best friends. Pink is good!
 
My crew and I will go the grocery store Friday morning before we leave the dock. We will grab a good selection of snacks and lunch foods along with plenty of beverages. Is anyone able to bring a grill that we could put on the beach? If so, we can grab a few steaks as well.

I think it would only be fair that we have a crab fest one day, after all, we will be on the Chesapeake:bigthumb:
 
I have a small grill I am going to try to find. Works off of propane if anyone wants to use it, we will probably cook up some burgers. Definitely hitting up a couple of spots on the bay.
 
I have a single gas burner/stove I'll be bringing......gotta have me some bacon'n'eggs Sunday morning!

It's so versatile - it can be used for cooking something else either day also.....

No need to worry about bacon and eggs... If you're close by in the AM we will be whipping up breakfast in the big boat that has a full kitchen. Bacon, Eggs, home fries, toast, Coffee, Orange Juice etc:D Breakfast will be served at the table on the fly bridge shortly after sun rise:bigthumb:

Unfortunately it just isn't in the cards. The Liberty Mate Posse should do some sort of local camping thing later this summer or maybe in the early fall. Wallenpaupack loses the speed limit after Labor Day.

hey Jetmate,
Is the resturant open yet at your marina?

Demag and Ram whats plans for friday, my boats going in thursday night and sitting on neigbors pier so wife can use truck for weekend. I'll be able to meet you guys whenever, where ever on friday.

Ram theres plenty of places for crabs. I think that should be saturday afternoon, evening. I'll have room to carry a few if need to. I forget some of you guys don't have the crabs once a week like my wife does!


Oh crap just reread that and now waiting for the cracks,
Wife eats crabs once a week, not has! lol

I'm heading down Thursday night and staying on the big boat. We will pickup food, splash the mate and check out on Friday morning. I will give you and Demag a call when I leave the dock and figure up someplace and time to meet:bigthumb:
 
ok I'm gonna get the wife and son on there way. Then I can go probaly around noon or so. We'll get it together.
 
That sounds good. That will make for a short ride by myself.
Got the boat in the water today and click click click. Went and got 2 new batterys and still clicking. Ends up when crawling around replaceing the impellor I nocked loose a corroded wire on the starter. Shes back running but still has not been water tested. Gonna try again soon. Third time better work out.
