Still looking into the history of this one. Possible race boat.
I think the Merc from the back of my '78 Predictor would be perfect for the back of this one.

These boxes need replaced, as well as the stringers and the small floor, all the way up to the front seat box. Possibly the transom also.

I used to have that same model, but i never knew what it was....i bought it for the motor and sold the hull to a guy i know because i had no room for it. It was used as a race boat back in the day...it was all red and had yellow lightning bolts on the deck and said "fast Eddie" on the sides.
 
Gotta be a race boat! Hope you can get the '63 running well enough to use it on this. make a nice 'show' vintage boat.
 
Its not a done deal yet. I'll know by Saturday morning. I would much rather sell it to someone on the board. The 63 Merc 850 goes with the boat. That would make a great combo for someone.
