Florida Boating

Hey Floridians - I can't wait until spring to go boating, so I was thinking of taking a few days off in February and bringing the Enticer down. Any suggestions of where I should go? Smaller water is better but I'm not scared to bounce around. :bounce:

Go to the St Johns River. Flat water other than a couple of big lakes and 150 miles of running. Lots of crystal clear springs to see and gators too. Runs from Cocoa Beach to the ocean in Jacksonville.

Yrs ago I did that, I have a bro down in the Orlando area. One april I dragged the starflite down from Detroit for a vist. Spent the mornings at a water ski school and my afternoons floating drinking beer looking at my new starflite on a lake in the downtown Orlando area. I would get back to my bros just in time for dinner. (I did find the time to take him sking once). That was the best week at my bros ever! Not mention exstanding the season too!

Man, where did I get all that money before, I'm still working the same job? Oh I remember, I got married and tripled my mortgage. Silly me :D

Gotta agree with Wildman.
The St. Johns River would be a great place to come down and see.:thumb:
That is if you don't want to do some ocean running.
Otherwise the Gulf coast has some beautiful waters and beaches.

Thanks to you all. I went to Boot Camp and Trade School in Orlando many years ago but haven't spent too much time in Florida since. The St Johns looks great, that's a lot of water.

I don't mind the ocean it's not like I'm going to depreciate my Enticer. Is Tampa a good place to go too?

DropTop, the upper keys are a blast. Just south of Key Biscayne, south Biscayne bay is a blast all the way to Key Largo...lots of great little islands and clear water to play in..the ragged keys, Soldiers key, Boca Chica Key, Sands Key, Elliots Key, etc.

The st.jones and and keys are awesome. But the jones river would be a lot less driving for you. Tampa bay is also nice but not as tourist friendly as the two above. We boat year round down here

:rof:That pic always cracks me up.:rof:
Not only did you TKO that poor gator but then you go back and give him a bear hug.

I would like to state that no gators were harmed in this pic he's just sleeping.
And that's just one reason they call Randy "Wildman"

all kinds of pootang down here......
Now will someone please tell this Florida boy what poutine is?
