hay guys new here.i bought a 79 jetmate2 last year of a old freind that his dad bought it i think new or used.the promblem is it ran good last year. this spring i rebuilt the starter & carb & new fulefwater fillter & points cap & rotter.NOW it well start up when setting a day but when restarting & add a little fule it slows the motor down to a crawl:confused:.does this boat have a NEG to POSTV? GROUND.the solenoid on the ignition side was gronded from block & the chock from carb.like i said RAN good last year & this spring. would like wire diagrame for this fast boat it's alot fun!oh yea & new parts in jet pump.THANKS
 
ON THE FREAKING WATER

hay guys i got it running GREAT!!. i advanced the timeing about 3 degrees with new cap & roder & points.i rebult the distributor about 3 weeks ago & the jet pump about 5 weeks ago.the new bearing & seal realy helped out.i allso set the float level on carb. she hauls a$$.the speedo dont work but every thing elts does. i think she was runing about 65 mph & the temp was around 150.now just the wet sanding to get the shine back:thumb:.it's comming :brickwall: together SLOWLEE CHECKMATE :surf:
