Just got a new custom 2011 21BR in.

What if the green were red? ....signed, charlene

dangit, actually the whole town said he shoulda used red, but it looked good to Charlene... you midwest guys should like the colors. :D

Everyone does red. I gotta have something different! I just ordered 3 more new Checkmates. Here's a RED old school design we came up with. The sides are light gray. It has a thin silver flake stripe between the red and black.
How do you like my new V8 400hp MERC!

Way to go Randy!

I still think the best looking Checkmate I ever saw was our old neighbours Trimate.

It was a red and black metal flake boat, that faded from almost solid black to almost solid red.

The interior had black carpet and white seats.

Basically the way the flake was done, was that the inside of the boat was almost solid black metalflake and just had the odd speck of red flake in it. As the flake travelled from the inside to the hull, it progressively got redder, until it hit the bottom of the hull, at which point it was basically the opposite of the inside, so it was almost solid red with just the odd bit of black flake. I tell you the thing was really sharp.

Is the 400 H.P. Merc Powered Pulsare going to debut at the 2011 Miami boat show next year? :D

I figure it's the least Merc can do after they forgot to bring the 350 XS Opti.

Randy thank you for all the pics on your new mates. also nice to hear they are flying out the door. Your pics are great they usually have palm trees in the background. cant beat a palm tree and a Checkmate!!!!!

Man I'm glad to hear they are selling. I was wondering why you were ordering more when you still had some old inventory, but you obviously know your market well. A rare bright spot in the (FL) boat industry now, especially with pro-line/donzi moving to NC with Fountain/Baja.

A 2400 with a 350 Opti would be my choice. Wonder how a new F300 Yamaha would run on it as well?

Looking forward to more 2100 builds from you.

Randy, are you having one built like the above picture? (Red and black old school) if so will it be a 2100 or 2400? I really like that design, if I end up buying a new hull for next year that would be up there in choices for a design. I would like to see it in other colors as well.

Yes, I'm getting a 24LD built right now like that. A 21 can't use that design due to the side body lines. I an getting another 21LD built like the yellow/silver/black one also.
