Lake Norris Spring Fling May 29-30 2015

Went to twin cove today and talked to the guy over the dock. Think he can take care of us on slips.. Said he could make room for 20 + boats covered and they are going to build some new slips this winter.. Going to try and get them to email me a room list/ price sheet, because they have more available than whats on the website . On trailer parking, there is a small lot.. There is another nicer area as well, but said the condo owners up above didn't like to look at the trailers there, think they might make an exception for us. Got the owners # going to talk to him on Tuesday about everything, possibly a discount on rooms..

They have a full bar/restaurant and live entertainment every weekend...

We were on Norris this last May and planed to make it a yearly thing! Absolutely love the lake and the area! We rented a house just a little south of Twin Cove and boated up past it. Depending on the plans we would def be in for a rally!

Sweet place. Great job. The lodging looks five star compared to grider. Is it May yet.

There are some very nice places on the lake, but few with the accommodations..

Btw.. not trying to take away from the Cumberland rally at all, just thought it would be a chance to get together and explore another lake..:thumb:

Awesome guys! looks like well have a good turnout.. Have tried calling head honcho 3 times this week, left voice mail.. Guess ill call manager at the dock and see if she gave me the right number or how to get in touch....Will keep trying..

I'd trailer it anywhere, if I had something worth trailering. count me in 2-4 years from now. Merc245

We have a friend with a huge home on the lake with 6 or 8 bedrooms can check with him on price for that many! And location to base of operations. If thats ok with Will ?

I wouldn't mind staying in a home, but if everyone that says there interested so far shows we would need around 11 rooms...Twin cove has some rooms that sleep quite a few, thought the ones that wanted to split a room up could do that.. Just trying to keep everyone together. Covered slips in case of rain.. Was also thinking of some that may want there own place.. Just tying to cover everything and make it great for everyone..:thumb:
