Mission Accomplished 101MPH!!!

Spent Saturday and Sunday Morning installing the Stellings dry exhaust system. Couple of passes to test and I hit WOT, 101MPH and I had to let off due to high water pressure (35psi) She has lots left, but I need to tune her and lower the water pressure. She is idling at 108 decibels. At speed the noise actually hurts my ears. Thanks for everyone’s help. I'll post some picture of the new setup on Monday.

Congradulations !!!

That is a big milestone to accomplish. Only a few will ever see triple digits on the water. I can't wait to see what this thing ends up running when it is dialed in. :bigthumb:

Amazingly it was very stable at 100. I think 110 is possible, if she has it in her. You know I'll keep trying........

Thats outstanding. Way to let here rip. Don't the cops bother you with that much noise?

You would think they would. But no- There is a cat that has a similar setup. We are by far the loudest boats. Unless I'm in a big time race I will have the mufflers on from now on, they should reduce it by 10 decibels..

CONGRATS!!!! :bigthumb: UNF*@KING REAL!!!! I BET THAT WILL MAKE A LOT OF BELIEVERS OUT OF CAT PEOPLE!! YOU SHOULD CALL POWERBOAT MAGAZINE AND HAVE THEM DO A SPREAD! :thumb:

Yea....i already told dave i would see what i can do to get something like that done on this boat...just awesome! Quite a sleeper....except for the noise ! :thumb:

That is one beautiful engine, That monster is really something to be proud of. Congrats on breaking the 100MPH barrier.

Thanks, but we aren't done with the finishing touches. Lots more braided hose is yet to be installed. Should be done with most of it this week.

The engine mounts are offshore style from checkmate.

DAVE, WAY TO GO :thumb:

IF YOU BRING THAT THING TO L.G.BE READY FOR SOME TICKETS! THEY ARE BUSTIN CHOPS WITH GOFAST AND LOUD BOATS
