I used 220 and 320 grit on the sides and top. Then I used filler to fill in all the holes, chips etc. After that I sprayed primer then sanded with 400 grit. Once that was done the boat was taped up and sprayed three different colors. I used Dupont base coat clear coat products. I started with interlux products and didn't get the look I wanted so automotive paint took it's place. The DuPont paint starts on page five on this link. I went with Awlgrip. I used their fairing product which meant priming before and after fairing. I forget what paper I used for scuffing. I just followed the product information sheet. Looking good Tim![]()
