New boat

Congrats Brian
Beautiful boat and I'm sure glad you finally found the one. So what's first on the agenda cause I know you can't leave well enough alone?

What yr. is it a 95-98? Looks really clean and tidy esp. under the hatch, did he clean up the rigging/wiring a little or do you think that is the way it came?

Two great boats, kind of greedy:poke: don't you think?
1998 283....... As far as I know its all stock under the hatch as it left checkmate.
Yep greedy and does not play well with others :bounce:

Congrat's Brian!!!! Hell yeah!! :thumb: That is great looking boat, good things come to those who wait!! So how'd she run? Get any speed numbers?
It will run 65 !!

Congrats Brian

Might do motor upgrades. I am thinking blue to match the graphics ;)

I seen the boat in person this morning even got to sit and walk around inside.:D Those pictures don't do that boat justice!!! The gelcoat, interior, motors and trailer are spotless.:thumb: Also got to met RngrDave as well.:D

Brian, again I'm happy for you man! Two mil's is more than I care to deal with but she sure is sweet. I love the torque of twin bb's! Now that it's public I thought more about the twin blue's and they may sit too close together for headers. It seems most guys with that issue have gone with the stainless marine setup which is sweet for sure. But keep in mind that you will need to drill and tap the blue heads to standard gm bolt pattern. Merc has their own bolt pattern for blue mil's. Just another way for them to proprietize their products. Currently stainless marine does not offer the blue bolt pattern. They will send you a jig to drill/tap the heads and I think you return it afterwards. Twin 525's would sure be perty:thumb:

Brian I heard 525's make around 800 hp with 3.3liter whipples lol for real though I'm sure kunkles cleared their schedule

I would like to break into the 90mph mark and have the ability to run low to mid 80's any day. Not sure what kind of power it will take but think 1050hp will get me close! I like the turn key and resale value of the 525's vs a home built powerplant.

I could be way off tho :o

Stopped down last night, boat looks better in person then online. I can't wait to get out and get her wet. Hey Brian:poke:now get my enchanter ready to go.:thumb:
hey Robbie, thanks for stopping by work, it's always nice to meet the people I harass online.

That boat looks great YF!

Two "BIG" Checkmates purchased in the past few weeks by members of this Site....SPRING IS HERE!

Good luck with it, I hope it is everything you dreamed of for the past two years.:thumb:
