New Checkmate model. 24 I/O boat

I wonder what it would do with the 496 HO 425 hp......I do like the graphics.....and bolster seats would be better

I'm not sure, but I think bolster seats would be out of place in this boat. It is a sit down boat kinda like the Pulsare's. Not deep enough inside for bolster's. boatman

Ya know, it just hit me, if they had just changed the deck enough to put a Checkmate windshield on it, it wouldn't look so much like a "football". boatman

I was thinking about the regular Cmate windshield or windscreen too....I don't think that it would look too bad......it would look more like a real mate anyways.

Boatman....you are probably right about the bolsters now that I look closer at it.

How about LET'S NOT! Just look at the pretty pics!

Thanks for the pics. I havent seen the boat completed in person yet (other than when it went past on the semi-trailer today). Love the deck graphics, and just noticed the door in the floor has the horse on it.

I just realized a big problem with buying one of these. They cant be Wildmanized, These cant have the usual touch that wildman put on his outboards or do you have some plans?

Randy,

If you can, tell us a little about construction; what power options it will have; and any upgrades or changes Checkmate might make between now and 2010. BTW Did you get a chance to drive or ride in it?:D

Hick

Randy Please post more info. we have plans to buy a new check around mid summer if the work load stays this heavy in our shop.

Thanks Terry :thumb:

The boat was finished just a day before going to the show, so it was never run. This one is a 2010 because it's a new model. Any motor from the 6.2/320 smallblock to the 425 is available. You can probably get the 525 if you want to spend $20-$25K more.

Thanks WILDMAN! You didn't address construction.....same balsa core hull construction as the rest of the c-mates?
