New Pulsare 21 RECORD SPEED! 98.1 mph!!

One thing is certain, a person on salt water at sea level has got a slight advantage over anyone that is inland and above sea level. As long as Randy is running on a cool day down there in Florida, he's got a leg up.

Go for it Randy!!!!!!
I hear this saltwater is faster all the time,I just dont see it on smaller boats like 21ft'rs.I live within a mile of of saltwater as well a freshwater, ive never seen a speed difference on the salt.If anything ive had the best speeds on the lake.If your in a larger boat thats not running on such a small surfice it probably make a notable difference. My personal take is water conditions make far more difference then the type of water. Our Velocity is fastest with a large chop.Being at sea level and in washington state we have very good air for hp as well.I see alot of guys in Ny claiming big numbers through certain passages or cutts, current cand be running 6knots alone when funneled through a small passage.Randy has the Pulsare's flat flying,I am on the hunt for a 21 pulsare bow rider myself.

Agree with above... What few times I've been in the salt with prior boats, I've never noticed any difference. Got to figure, there's not much hull in the water to begin with.

I may have a buyer for the 21. I'd like to see 100 before it goes! Just depends on whether I want to spend $1000 for another prop!

Would love to see it! I know of a prop that should get it there, on paper anyway and from running it. I ran a best of 92.7 last week with one. I thk it'd be right there with your xs. Sean

I have never ran in salt water and I know nothing about it. But I did talk to a rep from Progression one time and when he told me that there boats ran faster in salt water, I asked him why. In the back of my mind, I was thinking about being at sea level, but he said the prop gets a little better bite in salt water. On a light boat with excellent slip numbers, I still don't see how it could make a huge difference. And then theres the guy who told me that salt water has more buoyancy? That is the only person that I have ever heard say that.

Yea, I don't know? About the only difference I've ever seen with speed is running on a different day. Temp, humidity, pressure, etc...
