Be very careful trying to run a rooster tail with an I/O. Alpha drives do it much better than Bravos. The only time it is safe to run a tail with a bravo is if you have a shorty. Alphas are a little more forgiving with high trim angles but extended run time can prematurely wear the gimbal bearing/u joints and lead to failure....seen too many idiots blow their stuff up because it was cool to run a rooster tail on a stock setup. chances are if you are at your stock x dimension, a rostertail is way over trimmed anyways. If you need that much trim to run good numbers you need a prop with more bow lift. Just be careful with it.

Thanks! Yea, she sounds and runs great. Still nothing like my last one with the 383 stroker with 11:1 and ~500hp.Thats purdy!! Bet she sounds pretty awesome with a small block open exhaust and a surfaced prop together!!
