I have only done smaller $ amounts like $1000 or less. BUT just remember, PayPal is at 5% surcharge now. Make sure you add that to the price of the boat.
This fellow says he's on a off shore rig and he has limited access to internet,this is why he insist on paying paypal.the amount is 36,500$ not counting paypal fee.
I'd stay away if he insist on paying with paypal. I know it's tempting, but if you're have little 'red flags' popping up in your head, it's not worth it. If the seller pays with paypal and then does not like the boat or wants to 'scam' you, Paypal can take the money right back out of your account....without you even knowing. It has happen to my brother....on a much smaller value. A deposit through paypal is ok. GEt the rest in cash or a cleared certified funds check. Something sounds fishy here.

Just got another offer(e-mail) this morning from a robert hardey w/exaclly the same wording as the 1st offer from jordan evans wanting to pay PP only.
