Persuader Performance Boats is born.

Coop's new reality TV show.

Not really on TV, but its on youtube. So far probably the most boring show on youtube, lol. Well, maybe not, but its close.

OK, many of you will recall that I did get several molds from Checkmate. Doug and Dean set me up nicely for future projects. This is just the first one. I got started on it about a year or so ago, then life got in the way, and I had to start a new job. For the past year, I've been working 12-14 hr, or longer days. It hasn't left much time to work in the shop. So I've been working on other parts of it. Like setting up an actually company. Got all my paperwork done last month, well enough to get started anyway, so Persuader Performance Boats is born.

I started recording progress, but like I said, had to step away from it. Its time to get back at it. SCT has been after me to share, so I'm going to post them up here. This should catch you up until I get rolling again.

Yes, prepare for several minutes of your life that you will never get back again. :D Feel free to skip around if you like. But please subscribe, and post lots of comments.

Interact dammit!!

Not you Offshore Ginger, I'm sure I'm doing it wrong. :poke:

Check out the long hair, its been cut since then.

Anyway, enjoy, by enjoy, I mean try to stay awake.

Starting with a quick overview.

I've watched those videos on youtube a few times waiting for new ones to show up.
Thanks for taking the time to video. I find it very interesting to see how its done by a pro.

Congrats on your new venture and can't wait to see a finished product.

Try to keep me rolling along. :poke: And if there is a particular thing you want to see done, let me know and I'm sure I'll eventually get to take some video of it.

Now we're up to the gel coat design. Right after this is when I started my new job. Or rather I quit my job and went back to being an independent contractor. Yep, I'm paying big bucks for a really small Peterbuilt.

I've removed all of this and retaped everything with fresh tape and paper. It really would have been bad if I had tried to use this after a year of sitting.

If I don't post vids, I usually have some picture to post. Check out those over on the Persuader Performance Boats facebook page. www.facebook.com/persuaderboats

Click like on that page, and be sure to subscribe to youtube channel. There are lots of other vids, that I haven't posted elseware yet.

Way to go Coop. Been waiting for the videos to continue. Ive always been interested in seeing how these boats are constructed and have enjoyed the videos. Keep up the good work!

Congrats Coop!!! Thanks for taking the time to share!! I've watched most of those videos already, nice to see how it's done professionally! Do you have a video of re gelcoating a boat?

Had my second Coast Guard visit yesterday. We talked about whats being worked on, and what will be worked on. He gave me some updated info, and some inspection sheets listing things he will be looking for on future boats. I gave him some info to update the CG website listing for me.
It was a good meeting to have.

Best Wishes

Cooperider Best Wishes Always to You on Your Persuader Performance Boats . You are doing a Great Job. Your Friend Always Sammie Action Marine

I guess I over looked this thread back in Sept. Please keep the info coming. You're doing good work and watching you progress will help me stay motivated on my own project through the winter months. Thanks:cheers:

I have followed your video postings on Endless Boating. I almost want to come out of retirement just to work with you. But I will restrain myself.

Keep up the good work, this will be a worthwhile operation for you.
I am old school, so I like the older style designs, more like the flat facit style than the newer rounded style.
