Today I finally finished the mahogany floor. Tomorrow, before I put the 2nd coat of paint on the topside, I'll do a test fit to see how it fits (picture to follow). I'll be finishing the mahogany with Siken urethane.

Below are the gauges I'll be installing.

Below is a picture from a few months ago that show where I cut out the old location of the fuel fill and patch it back as though it was never there.

Additionally, in this picture, you can see where I added fiberglass around the top of the transom rather than put the aluminum extrusion back. All of the patch work came turned out great, now that all of it is paint. Tomorrow, I'll attached a picture of the back of the boat.

I like this..........A LOT. Boat looks great. Keep up the great work....this is on its way to being one of the nicest restores on a Predictor yet. And I see a very nice looking XR6 waiting in the background.

If all goes well I should be ready for the water in about three weeks. Tonight Im ordering the rest of my parts and this weekend I'll put the final coat of paint on the topside. And then finally the clean part of the project....I can put it back together.

Today I installed the gauges, helm, steering wheel, teleflex jackplate/trim switch behind steering wheel, throttle control, rigging tube escushions (not sure how that is spelled), fuel filler cap, fuel vent, and stern light. Pictures below.
