" For Sale" SMOKIN DEAL ON MY CONVINCOR

hey red, thought you wanted me to deliver the 342 beckmate when i come to your halloween party! doug said he was personally coming to as the great pumpkin! lol:D:D

Wow, that is my dream boat right there, perfect color combo, good motor, well maintained, sounds awesome, hell of a price, man i don't get much better than that!! I've been looking at, and would love to buy a newer Convincor in the worst way! Can i afford it, yeah it would be tight but yes i could! Problem is i have no place to put it, which is what really bugs me, my parents lake house doesn't have enough room for another boat lift and i don't plan on selling my Enchanter, (the lift would'nt hold a bigger boat anyways.) plus i would have to have a new dock set-up installed which would be quite costly! Also i don't have room to store it at my house, the Enchanter just fits in the garage now (along with 3 old Mopars). Man, that is one sweet boat, i wish i could give it a new home for ya Big Red!! Good luck on the sale, hope you're gettin another 'Mate!!

...and it's Red to boot, best color IMO.

In talking to Mike @ Checkmate, he was telling me it takes them a pretty significant amount of extra time and $ to manufacture a red boat compared to other colors.

So worth it, they shine like a million bucks 20 years later when the gels done right like only Checkmate can accomplish.

Thanks for the compliments and yes Checkmates red gel is the best. But the boat being kepted inside its whole life has a lot to due with its shine. I never buffed this boat or used any type of compound it has only been hand waxed.

The boat is also very straight down the sides and no waves.

By the looks of doug he will only need some orange paint and his birthday suit.

If I stay with a single engine boat I am 95% sure I would stick with a Checkmate. But in my eyes Checkmate does make a twin I/O worth having when one good BB will due just as good in any Checkmate ever built. And I promise you that I will never own a beckmate unless they give it to me or sell me a new one for a discount of 5 cents on the dollar.

i have had the pleasure of being on big red's boat. it is in excelent condition inside and out. the only thing that i noticed is that beer seems to disappear rather fast while on board!:cheers:
