Watch out for a Liner For Sale ad very soon. :thumb:

Welcome to ownership of one of the rarest, coolest Checkmate models ever built!! You will be thrilled. I helped Max set that boat up. Keep us posted with how well it runs and some performance numbers!!! Sincerely, the other 2800SX Outboard owner, JP!

Alright fellas... I think the joke has gone on long enough. I am the official owner of the 2800 and with that I am once again back into a Checkmate! I will start a thread in the next couple days to show the boat off and discuss my future plans.

Oh man, you guys have us all confused! Ok, congrats to whoever the "real" owner of this 2800 is!:bigthumb: Looking forward to hearing and seeing some new progress!! JP

Awww Ram - you're such a spoilsport!

But seriously, yes, the 2800 is Ram's now. I went along for the ride to make sure he wouldn't have to drive the 20hrs all on his lonesome. That 20mins I drove for really made the difference for getting home safely! :rof:

"So why is the Starliner for sale?" I hear you all say...
I've decided its time to go bigger and get a wave crusher. I can't keep proving that Starliners can beat any bigger Checkmate in the rough stuff or I'll be a single man!!

Have my eye on something. In the meantime, my boat is available and I don't think any potential buyer will be disappointed.

I forgot to mention in my last post - I huge thank you to Knarloid for joining me in the 1250 mile 24 hr run to grab the boat - A last minute decision and donation of your entire Sunday, along with lost production on Monday from lack of sleep is greatly appreciated:bigthumb:
