Starliner Factory Refurbishment Pics

Mine with a 200 Johnson was good for 63 with a 24 Raker and it was a decent all around prop but did cavitate some on turns. I ran a 24 Mach 4 blade and although it was a hair slower it was a much better prop all around and sharper turns are no problem with a 4 blade. My results were similar with a 24 Trophy. A 250 hp Merc gives me 71.5 with the same 24 Trophy due to the different lower unit gear ratio. There's more in it but it's a great all around boat like this. Oh, and both setups were with 5.5 inch jack plate. It seems to run best top end with the prop centerline about 3.5 inches below the V.

black is often hard to show shine, but if you look in the last picture, you'll notice the reflection of the diamond plate steps on the trailer reflecting off the gel!

Congrats on the completion. Too bad it is at this time of year. Are you going to attempt a splash before you put it away for the winter?

still have to get the new motor on while mercury is still running their repower promotion. i'd still say we'll try to dunk it before we put it away for the year. have a couple of other projects to complete on it, not sure if we'll try to do them this year or wait until spring. i'll have more pictures when we get it back

Boat looks Fantastic, I love the flake. Thanks for posting the pics.

Your boat turned out great, love the metal flake!!! :thumb:The factory did a fantastic job on the restoration!!!:thumb:

Great! I'm diggin' the new style bow seating rather than the original forward facing cushions. But then I remembered you said they were reusing the old vinyl. Did your boat have the newer side benches up front originally?
