What is your boat getting for next season?

outdrive is getting gone through now, then i think it may be time to work my motor a bit......260hp just isn't enough!!!

Boat is down to carpet and wiring. Trying to hook up with a buddy to do the carpet. It will be after the first of the year. Heated garage so we can do it this winter.

Wish you were closer. I have 2/3 of a pale of good outdoor carpet adhesive left over from my restore and no use for it. Prolly wouldn't be worth the freight to get it to you, though.

What is my boat getting..First. A Mobile 1 Synthetic oil change,8 quarts.:irked:
Next, A Methanol injection kit....300$'s and prolly 30-40 horsepower AND safer for my engine because of the cooler air charge....But this week my boat is going to the GAS station to get a full 80 gallons of Premium 93 octane because IT'S CHEAP NOW!!!! Hopin to gain 2-3 mph and hit 73-74 mph in early spring, and still runn'n a bone stock (Internals) 330 horse crate engine!

next year.. im just hoping to get some affordable gas prices!!

i wont be at all suprised when they go back up for the summer months...:brickwall:

Hopefully finished.......I've owned this boat for over 2 years and haven't had a motor on it or in the water. Someone needs to come down here and kick my ass until I get it done.

Ready to start laying stringers though, got the transom all finished up.

this is the season to get wet! :bigthumb:

My 253 convincor needs some serious motor work.....it did not come stock with enough throttle....hehe. It is up there in hours and needs a rebuild anyways so I am thinking a stock rebuild and a Procharger or punching it out to a 540 with 10.5 compression and keep it fuel injected. The stereo will also get a big upgrade. As far as the graphics go, I think I will go over the current scheme with some updated colors.

I still have a ton of work left to do on my 251 so i guess everything will be upgraded haha i just hope a have money left to put it in the water in the spring!!!!!!!!!

Crutchfield just mailed me today:

Two 300 rms watt ten inch Polk Momo subs--hint, they are buy one get one free right now!

Two 100 rms watt Polk Momo 6 x 9's

and two 80 rms watt Polk Momo 6.5's

Looking for the amps right now--leaning toward JL Audios or Alpine pdx's

Head unit will be either the Alpine x100 or 9887

I'm tired of listening to other people's music

Gotta fix the emblem on one of my bolsters, find a short in my tabs, change the oil, put the batteries in and rack up the hours!

Instead of keeping an eye for you,I'll keep a ear out for you next summer!!! I never know when or where I'll show up! :surf:

Sounds like a deal. Boatin70's 242 would raft up nice next to my 240, if you end up sliding into a bigger boat this summer.:thumb:
