What is your boat getting for next season?

my boat is getting motor, paint, all new hardware mostly anodized blue billet, new transom, new stringers/floor, hydro steering, jackplate, billet steering wheel, new seats, maybe a bedliner floor. not much lol

new upholsery for 87 convincor - ideas, pics?

All new interior upholstery! I need to get the ideas firmed up though - Thinking about changing the original base grey to a base white and having two red racing stripes each ending with sewn in flames on engine cover? Also no more two inch pleats in fabric. Any other ideas? Possibly a checkmate logo on hatch or bolsters? Need to find out where to get a good copy of logo for embroiderer to duplicate - ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Mine will be getting lots of fuel. I plan on being inthe water more than ever this season. I just moved a block away from a boat launch right on the river.

I have to put a new stator on my 150hp inline six merc and a new rectifier . Little scared thinking about taking the flywheel off and the distibutor moving and not being able to retime it . I have to pull the power head to and reseal the the exhaust water covers( leaking water) . But other than that shes ready for the water . Oh almost forgot New tires for the trailer cant go anywhere with out those lol

Winter 2009/2010

I figured I would bring this one back for Ill....good thread.

After reading Rhino's thread, it appears that I need some LED lights sooner than later.

What about you guys?!

I am collecting up some parts, will post pics as soon as the list is complete.

wish list

carbs rebuilt- one is leaking
upgraded cowling or repaint/decal what i have
interior work- build new back and front seats
6" manual jackplate
steering wheel trim controls
redo the crappy carpet job i did in a hurry to get on water past season
if i am lucky maybe get 1 or 2 of these done for this season
only 5 months till boating season

I think that Mr.Gadgets and I have a plan for the drive on the 21 Superboat. I'm planning on going with a -3 imco case with the bravo upper... should be intresting. I'll also check the tune on the efi with a wideband O2 sensor to make sure its safe. I think thats all I can really afford to do right now- and thats pushing it.

Maybe I can get a new carpet cut for it before the season is upon us. If not, I'll apply some kind of backer to the old rug, so I can get by with it for a while.

I was ready to put the boat in storage for the next couple months after the new interior gets here hopefully next week. I have the stereo and backlighting install pretty much complete. I just read this whole thread. The funny part, now I have a jensen jport and a motorized stern light on order. I'm brand new to the forums and my wife is already gonna be cussing all of you guys.

1. Just got the prop: 25P Trophy Plus
2. Need a new white mercury trim gauge to match up with the rest of the gauges...Why would you put one black gauge in your dash?
3. Possible 6"-8" setback Bracket to get up 12-15" total.

Great Thread!!!

Heads are on the way off to be sent off with a new intake for a major porting and port matching. Different carb, possibly more cam, and very likely a shorter gear ratio in the alpha ss drive that's on it... and finally, if I wind up pulling the engine. will lok for some weight loss changes on the interior and blueprint / redo the running surface. looking for another 10 - 15 mph I think...
