WTB 24 BRX

The red/black one is nice 75k price is high for that boat. If it had a 300r I would be interested.
He’s down to $65k now unless he raised it back up, but thats still to high for a 14yo boat and motor. $45k with that setup is more like it. I agree if it had a 300r it would be a good buy at that price.

I think TraceF3 sold his 2400 crawl through earlier this year for around $65K. He had a new (about 100 hours) 300R, and fixed everything on the boat that was not up to snuff. I think it only took a few weeks to sell it. When Caldwell Marine was building them, the list price for a 2400 with a 300R and options was around $126K new. A 23 ft Velocity / 300R new was a bit over $130K. Yeah I think that's crazy (I own a 2020 long deck 2400 / 300R) but there are very few for sale and if you find a 2010 say in mint condition, with an almost new engine, at $65K it is about half the price of what a new one was a year ago. So I can see why they are getting those prices, but I think that is short lived? Not sure if it is true, but I heard rumors that a new 24 ft Persuader will list around $90K. As we enter a recession in 2023, I think the price of all boats will drop like they did around 2008 - 2012.
I stand to be corrected. I looked at the ad for Trace's boat under "Checkmates for sale by owner" and he was asking $57,900 (not $65K) but it sold fast and I think for very close to the asking price. It was a 2008 year.

Thats sounds about right, seeing that it has newer power.

I have a 2400brx, purchased new in 2017, it was Checkmate’s Miami boat display boat. 300 Verado, hydraulic jackplate rated for the 400. Snap in carpet, ski pole, bow filler, the works. 3 props. Dry rack stored, fresh water. In Seattle now. I’m open to offers.

Hey guys, my 2009 has been back to the factory at Caldwell in 2021 and has been gob through with a fine tooth comb. It’s available for $70,000 additionally I have the last 2400 brx rigged with a 450r that might be available in the 155-$160,000 range. Not sure of price yet still doing prop testing with the high 5

What speeds are you getting with the 450R? How much jack plate setback are you running (if the engine has an AMS midsection I assume that would be an additional 4 inches of built in setback.

Why would you be using a high 5 on a 450r? Thats way too small of a prop.

You have any pics of your BRX with the 450?

A 2009 for $70k? It better have a 400 on it for that price! And even then you're asking way too much.

Ima thinking he had a dream that he had a 24 BRX with a 450R 😂😂
Bahahah, yea a really wet dream. His 2009 went back to the factory he says to be “gone over”. Was it blessed by a Rabbi in order to get that $70k price tag? Or maybe they sprinkled some special go fast dust in the bilge? We may never know…

Maybe I should ask $90k for my 2400? Any takers??? It doesn't have go fast dust, but it does have the providence of being owned by a cool mofo.😎🤑

A friend of mine sent me this pick he saw on ScamBook, says it’s in Delray, Fla. I haven’t seen it out on the water yet but I’m looking out for it 🧐🙄🫣

Wow! I think the last Caldwell 2400's with a 300R had a list price around $126K. I thought a 450R was about $30K more than a 300R which would put it around $156K. Perhaps this one has some additional features?? Nice boat but they are proud of it.

Nothing out of the ordinary in additional features, most of the features i have on my 14’ BRX.

Wonder if that boat will ever get sold?
Hard to say. I don'tr think you would build a $170K bowrider on spec. I doubt a dealer ordered one on spec, so perhaps a customer ordered it, and then backed out after Caldwell had the motor and the boat almost completed??? They could easily sell the 450R, and then sell the bowrider unrigged, probably easier than selling the $170K combo, but you never know, it takes only one buyer with money that badly wants that combo. It might run high 80's, and there are much better and faster choices out there for less than $170K, but not many bowriders.
