    Tesla 220 .that 3.7 liter is a merc alluminum block with a merc crank spining ford 460 4.5" pistons and rods It even uses a ford bb head. only prob with them they like to blow head gaskets. easy fix buy a alluminum head problem solved. four cylinders tons of tourque

    hello all

    Its getting real close to water ready just bought bobs 4 in 1 manual . I have everything else. going to clean carbs tomarow and attempt to fire the engine. It has great compresion 140 psi on all 6. I tested before i bought it.

    When i bought my predictor all the interior was taken apart and in rough shape .My question is the rear bench seat in my boat . should it be one piece or two.

    Picked up a 79 Predictor and a 2.4 Bridgeport

    That thing is going to be scary. Boston a friend of mine found a 94 2.4 efi with a alien cowl, alternator setup, bobs lower unit ,and controls on Ebay for $2400 in con. he is rigging it on his 76 vector.

    What prop are you running? as far as the engine inline six cylinders have rotary reeds on the crank case #1-3-5 run leaner than the other cylinders. check your plugs to make shure the engine is getting enough fuel. a lean engine will blow up. and run great. even with a plugged carb. the plugs...

    $650 is a steal if it is in good shape. i paid $1300 for mine and the floor needed repair and the Lower unit and trim pump were bad . but the transom is solid and the engine has a new powerhead on it with 1 season of use.     FLOOR ISSUES

    I just finished the same job on my predictor i replaced the plywood from the back of the front seat bases to the transom it is3-16" plywood on the floor and the stringer in the midle of the boat is just 3-4" plywood . I had fun with mine good luck!

    is your plate hydrolic or manual?28 pitch seems small for that much hp I have A 24 spinelli chopper for my inline I hope thats enough
