    it usually would run 160 with a 4 blade smaller aluminum. plus if i run it longer going fast i sometimes goes over 170.

    I have a 1991 19' checkmate diplomat I/O with the stock 4.3l v6 GM engine. I am running a 23p 3 blade turbo prop stainless. When i go faster around 4,000 RPM's the temp goes up to 170. just cruising its at 160. I might have run over some weeds a while ago but i am not sure. What should the...

    Whats this Wire?

    When i was looking around i found two wires that looked to have the female end for these connectors. It had a jumper plug connecting the two. And yes, i can use the trim button to get a full range of motion on the outdrive. I have some pics if someone can post them for me.

    haha yes thats what i am getting as well. I guess i wont do a thru-hull until i put a v-8 in which i am certainy wont be for a while.

    Yes i do have a trim gauge. How can i check to see if its working? I just dont see the other ends that they would plug into. I will look harder today for the other ends.

    i use this on my BMW engine all the time both in the gas and through the vac line right into the intake, cleans the carbon out.

    was it stainless steel? I have a 4 blade aluminum prop on now i belive is a 21 pitch but my uncle says it revs to high. I also have a 23p 3 blade stainless that seems to be to much prop for the boat, unless i get it balanced maybe?
