    Sorry for the stupid question, but what is 'PL Premium'? My lowes (or maybe it was Home Depot) carries 3M 5200, and that's what I was going to use. If PL Premium is better, I'll use that instead.

    it's half of a Ford 460 Big Block. It's a mercruiser design, though...never used in automobiles.

    I have the 170hp 3.7l 4cyl. I have a 23p prop and do about 50mph. Pretty good for a 4cyl, if you ask me.

    Eluder with a 350 mag

    I have an Eluder (still with the 4cyl) and I have been told by people who would know that it was one of Checkmates best hull designs. Very rare, though. Almost nobody on this board has them or talks about them.

    Outboard i/o conversion

    I have an 19' I/O Eluder, and I was actually contemplating going the OTHER way with it. Pull the motor and outouboard and EBAY them. Then find an outboard bracket somewhere. Think of all the extra storage space you would have! I just don't need another damn project on my hands...
