1975 Vmate restoration

Great, Thats what I wanted to know (I would of done the same). And if I had a teacher like yourself I'd properly wear my teather all the time too. The best I can say for myself is I did install a foot throttle yrs ago and use it everytime out! HaHa

Thanks Again Jeff

Now on with the Build!

Thank You Jeff

Thank You Jeff for the Kind Words My Friend. My Action Marine Club Members use to have a Saying and it Went Like This. Sammie Giveth and Sammie Can Taketh Away lol. All My Customers Knew that I Worried about Them Always and that there Safety Came First. When We all Ran Together in a Big Pack Each of Them Knew I was Always Watching Them and Making Sure They Had Fun But also Respected There Boats and The Speed that They Had and to Always Play Safe and Respect Each Other or They Could Lose 5 MPH LOL. Monday Mornings were Always Fun for Me Because Many of My Customers would Call in and Tell Me about there Weekends and who they Ran With and Who they Beat over the Weekends. So even if I was Not with Some of Them they knew Some How Things would always Get Back to Me. All of You Checkmate Members Have a Great Labor Day Weekend, Run Fast and Be Safe. Always Your Friend Sammie Action Marine

Didnt get anything done to the boat this weekend. Had a family day today . My dad had talked to my uncle this afternoon and he said I can keep the boat at one of the shops for the winter and give me a key to the building . So that was a big plus . Im off work on tuesday so ill get up early and head out to the garage and get my last side panel fitted . And start getting the foam cut and fitted too . Hope every one is having a great holiday weekend ......

I did get the back seat all trimmed up and the seat corners rounded . Every thing has had its test fit just need to start cutting the foam . I planned on that yesterday but had to do a few things and never made it back home till late this morning .....

Will, do you plan on glassing or painting your wood that your going to uposter over?? I'm having to replace the wood on my back seat for the second time, since 74. but it has gotten lots of water from skiers over the years.. I'm thinking of atleast covering with some epoxy, preservative or paint this time?
You thoughts?
