We made up a skin for the inside of the transom today to cover the part we cut out . Turned out very well . Now I have to get back out and get this tabbed in place....

Looking great will! Im going to visit sammie in December. Wish i lived near mich so many check lovers out there makes me lonely lol. I did hang with a guy that had a 24' enforcer. Was actually a boat i almost bought but the guy wanted way too much for it. but it was super clean and ran great. But like you what makes me feel good is i have about 3000 in my boat and i can almost keep up with something that cost 3x's as much  thanks to sammy once i get the steering this winter. i will push it even faster. Keep up the great work.

The transom skin is all glassed in place . Tomorrow it will get another full sheet . Been another productive day .

Yeah Chris im thinking once I get this done ill head down and see Sammie . He deserves to take the boat out for some fun . I cant wait to get mine out . It just looks like its gunna be alot of fun :surf:

Will, you guys are making some amazing progress in a short time, keep us posted on the pics.

Whats the story on Sea Cast??

The seacast is 3 times stronger than plywood , Its lighter and it floats . I did my Trimate in 2004 with it and the transom does not move . Ill never have to worry about it getting wet or anything cuz it will never rott again . Its really good stuff . I so was impressed the first time its something ill always use when I do a transom ....

Lol the structure will be done here soon and the hull will be put back together but im not sure if im going to wait till spring to paint it or take it over to my uncles machine shop and paint it there thru the winter . I just might do that depending how bored I get here through the winter .

I came home to night to see that my dad had been here sanding and blocking up the transom to help it hold its shape when we put the Woven roving on the inside skin . Than I guess I can pick up a tube of 5200 and install the new garboard plug and start pouring some seacast . Would like to pour it tomorrow if we have time ...

Been out all day messing with this boat . Dad grinded that hard concrete stuff off the inside of the splash well . I just layed a piece of woven roving in a few ago . I have the deck still turned over in the yard . Going to patch all the holes from the the snaps that were in the top . I found a bad piece of wood on the top I have to fix but thats not a problem its easy to get too .......

Well the transom inside skin is all together glassed all up . Patched some holes in the top half of the boat where the snaps were . We were looking at the boat where top and bottom meet together and the rivets go through to hold it together and there is alot to repair there . So many holes and chipped off pieces of fiberglass . But tomorrow before I head to work im going to get out and do some more to it and ill post up more pictures .......

Will, I need to borrow your dad for my next project!!! :thumb:

It took him a bit to get started but once he did hes been staying on it . I just let him do his thing and dont argue with him lol . He stays busy working on one part and im busy working on another part . It does make it alot easier when you have a extra set of hands .....
