yes i know...i worked in a place we used it on brand new cobalts.after we did blister repairs on the bottoms of 70 brand new boats.some had never been in the water!i used the interprotect barrier coat inside and outside before i painted my little toy then put the carpet in over the paint.had way to much time on my hands at the time!lol comon spring!i was told it can add up to 10mph to a boat.slick stuff!

Ordered up some more paint supplies . Now I just need some really nice weather . Come on Spring !!!

The rest of the stuff I ordered is here sitting on the kitchen table waiting for me to go get the boat and back to working on it ....

Was going to pick the boat up today and get it back here since the last two weeks here have been just fantastic weather wise . But it ended up raining and I didnt want the inside getting wet so I chose to wait and I will go get it on tuesday sine that is my next day off . So since I was home I started striping the paint off some of the motor cowling since it will be getting painted too . Soon as I get the boat back here on tuesday Im going to start stripping the paint off of it . Ill put some pictures up tuesday after I get her back home !!!

Its Tuesday

Today is the day . I worked late last night. Im up early . Im exhausted . Coffee just got done . I need coffee before I head any where . I have to run out and pick up a few things than im headed right back here and start removing some paint .....

if you put the stripper on, then cover with plastic wrap ,let it sit and it works alot better
and faster

I have to becareful. I just found that it eats the gel where it was faded and rough it was making the flake come off . So for today Im done with stripping till I can get it out in the drive way and hook the garden hose back up So I can rinse it down when Im done ...

While I was out earlier I bought some sanding disks for the Grinder . 36 Grit. I was going to finish getting the carpet glue out of the boat and Couldnt find the grinder  . I bet my dad has it and didnt tell me ... So Instead I sat out in the garage and looked over the hull and looked over the spots that need to be fixed before its painted so wasnt a bad day after all ........

I heard my door bell Ring and this was sitting at my front door . My new 12 gallon fuel tank. I had took all the measurements before I put it away for winter and I actually found a tank with in my measurments. It fits Nice .....

Will30, I'm getting ready to start on my brothers VMate and it needs a tank, where did you source that one?

Also the boat we are working on is orange and gold flake, most likely the same colors that one was at one time.

Great work so far!
