400 Mercury

I need to join that party! I'm waiting on a quote from the dealer. That's a great price and I'm sure JJG is checking that out.

Couldn't even imagine how much horsepower 29k could get a big block.

Actually only around $15k with the trade. It would cost more than that to bolt 100hp on to a big block plus drive work to do it the correct way. In this case I get a whole motor & new sportmaster drive for $15k !! And dont forget the 85mph to go along with it !!!

JJG- congrats! :thumb:

Hey, I am curious how you went about the trade-in. I too have a 2014 Pulsare 2400(long deck), with a 300xs.

1. Did you go through Mercury's reporter program?
2. A particular Mercury dealer?
3. Do you know if Most Mercury dealers do trades ?
4. Mercury direct?
5. ....

Thanks in advance mate.
