It looks like the above DCB ran 108 w- dual 400Rs, 14 mph faster than dual 300XSs.....very impressive! I think Merc might have a winner for hulls that can handle the weight. Wildman needs to build a 2400LD/400R.

Im at the mercy of the mfgr. Im talking to Dean at the moment to see if mid summer would even be possible with the leadtimes merc is giving. If not by the rally soon after at least. Stay tuned.

Actually only around $15k with the trade. It would cost more than that to bolt 100hp on to a big block plus drive work to do it the correct way. In this case I get a whole motor & new sportmaster drive for $15k !! And dont forget the 85mph to go along with it !!!

Hey, I am curious how you went about the trade-in. I too have a 2014 Pulsare 2400(long deck), with a 300xs.

1. Did you go through Mercury's reporter program?
2. A particular Mercury dealer?
3. Do you know if Most Mercury dealers do trades ?
4. Mercury direct?
5. ....
