New England Get Together?

Vinny,
Sorry you can't make it. It it a long haul for you.

I will be taking a digital camera and video camera.
I am sure there will be others also.
I know this does not take the place of being there.
Hopefully we can have the 2nd annual New England Get Together next year and have you there!!

Note to All Attending:
There is a launch in the State Park which is very near the sandbar we are meeting at. Anyone use this one before?

The Standish ramp is 20 to 25 miles away from the State Park ramp and 10 miles by water. I will probably use the State Park ramp as I will be closest to it when I get into the area.

Should we PM any cell numbers or just wing it?
I am planning to be at the sandbar between 10 and 11.

It looks to me like the closest ramp to the sand bar would be the state park ramp, correct? What is the best way to get there, I will be coming from Wakefield, NH (near RT 153, 16, and 110).

Yup, the closest ramp to the sandbar is the state park ramp. I'm leaving from wakefield sat morning to, but I'm gonna drop in at the standish ramp caus its quite a bit closer than driving to the state park ramp.
But from wakefield to get to the state park take 16 north to 25 east to rt 5, to rt 113, to rt 11/114 will get you there...its not that bad of a ride, should take you about an hour and half or so.
If you wanna drop in at the standish ramp, you can follow me from wakefield if you like...we're planning on leaving town around 8:30 or so.
:D

It looks like most everyone is putting in at Standish.
We may just do the same.
A good chance for pics and videos on the way to the sandbar!!

i wish my trimate was ready for the water. i would definately be there if it was. but i still have a lot of work ahead of me. i just got the motor running yesterday though. so im happy with the progress. this should be an annual thing for sure. and i will be there next year if there is another. i hope to see a lot of pics and some vids. have fun guys. and show em what checkmates are all about!

Jeff,
I guess I will put in at Standish as well. The only reason I was looking to get closer to the sandbar was in case I had some problems, becuase it would be easier to get home.

I went back through the posts and this is who I came up with for people going:
Chris G
lt133
Great East Predictor
Boston Predictor
SneakyPete
85 Predictor
hac
Robwkamm
Hotwire 419

Sneaky,
Thanks for doing that. I was wondering the same thing!
I also went through the posts to get an idea of ages.
I noticed that cvx16cvx may have been waiting for a conformation email.
I sent one this morning.

My son will be with me. He is 23.
He should leave Sebago with a big smile on his face.
Hope there is room in one of the other Checks so he can get a ride!!

I AM STILL HOPING TO MAKE IT BUT MY POWER TRIM IS STILL ACTING UP. I AM INSTALLING NEW SOLENOIDS ON FRIDAY. IF IT WORKS I'LL SEE YOU GUYS SATURDAY AT THE SANDBAR. IF NOT I'LL LOOK FOR THE PICS NEXT WEEK. CHRIS
