i thought gas was so expensive everywhere in europe and that we had the monopoly on gas guzzlers.

i don't follow vw much , so what are you saying , its a v10 diesel ? i know vw was working on a w12 ,that is 2 v6's joined at the hip. i love diesels myself . the ford f series with the 6.0 is just a rush to drive . totally diferent from any gas motor you ever drove

it's a V10 5.0 diesel Turbo twin intercooled. "the most powerful diesel ever build in a consumer car"(says Volkswagen, counting the torgue i think.)

standard 750 nm torgue,(313hp) and after chiptuning 920NM of torgue. (over 400hp)

i need the laserdetection and lasershield package. that's for sure

is 750nm the same as 750 lbs of torque? Surely not? I kbnow the new Chevrolet Duramax put out 590lbs of torque and 310 Hp. With a programmer the Duramax can jump a additional 90hp and almost 200 Lbs of Torque!

1 lb= 1.3576159 nm

VW touareg V8=302 lb-ft nm=410

(this is what sales info says about V8, so the V10 is

1 lb= 1.3576159 nm

V10 TDI=552.43902lbs =nm 750

risenshine gets pulled by fords, nothing but fords . since my biggest customer is a ford dealer and i have access to anything on the lot i usually grab the biggest baddest thing there (used of course). then they pay me to clean it ...... only in america !!!

I hear ya,I've got a Black 99 F-250 Super Duty 4x4 quad cab w/8'bed.Well made truck.I've had both Dodges and Fords. The new Dodges are nice but the Transmissions are trouble. It costs way to much $$$$$$$ to rebuild them nowadays.

i'll probably start world war 3 .but there's only one truck ,if you are really going to WORK it. the 05 super duty will have an allmost 16,000towing capicity anmong many other improvements. the best never rest!

eric.... i can see why you're not in the water yet...you have way too much stuff to keep clean.........

Thanks we like it alot. getting ready to put air bags on it later this summer. You cant beat the ride of these Avalanches .
